Born in Whittier, NC, deep in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, I have always been drawn to the wonder of this terrain. My Father's side of the family goes back several generations in these mountains. I always feel at home when I travel the crooked dirt roads and cross the pristine mountains streams of the Blue Ridge. These paintings reflect my affection for this beautiful country and its people.
